The Committee
My role on the committee as the chairman is to provide support to the committee members, clubs & players around the county. I have being playing squash since the age of 12 and currently represent Eastgate in the Lincolnshire Leagues. I am hugely passionate about the progression of Squash within Lincolnshire.
My role on the committee as Rules Secretary involves dealing with disputes / complaints from clubs and trying to ensure that the rules are applied consistently to all teams. When I’m not dealing with rules I also captain Eastgate G in the weekend league and play for Eastgate 1 in the midweek league.
My role on the committee as the welfare officer is to provide support to the committee members, clubs & players around the county with regards to Welfare. Aside from my welfare role I have play team squash for Horncastle and I have also recently represented the Ladies County team.
Nigel played squash in the Army and upon leaving set up his own Squash & Racketball School, WIN with a total of 8 coaches across Lincolnshire. A qualified County Referee and Squashercise instructor Nigel is a Level 3 Elite Coach and is currently head of the Lincolnshire Junior County Coaching program for Lincolnshire Squash. Voted England Squash Participation Coach 2015.
Cathy’s role on the committee as Treasurer involves dealing with the day to day finances of Lincolnshire Squash. As well as Treasurer Cathy plays a vital role in all elements of organisation, including fixtures, competitions etc. Cathy represents Rustons Squash Club and is one of the few female players we have playing in Lincolnshire.
